Innovation HQ

Innovation HQ is a space where the students at Victoria Road Primary School come along to practise being THINKING superheros!  Experiences with technology, science and engineering are geared towards driving engagement and curiosity in the topics being studied in the classroom.

Our Dash and Dot Robots are particularly popular with the students. They operate the robots using coding, via a suite of iPad apps. Dash and Dot have proven to be a fantastic tool for inspiring creativity in our students.

Virtual Reality has recently been introduced at Victoria Road with the intention of providing learning experiences that were previously unattainable to our students.  Hovering over Niagara Falls in a helicopter, exploring the pyramids and walking with dinosaurs during prehistoric times are just a few examples of what is now possible.
